Job Description
Major Duties
- Develops NASA's IT Strategy in support of agency mission and priorities. Provides oversight for all Agency federally-mandated IT initiatives.

Qualifications
- Develops NASA's IT Strategy in support of agency mission and priorities. Provides oversight for all Agency federally-mandated IT initiatives.
- Provides direction, policy guidance, and oversight for Agency and Center CIO offices, enterprise IT service lines, and agency Chief Data Officer and Chief Artificial Intelligence (AI) Officer.
- Develops and manages an integrated budget for CIO programs and operations; and determines funding levels to ensure program effectiveness and efficiencies.
- Develops and implements Agency-wide strategies, policies, programs, and processes for managing IT investments and services.
- Leads efforts to modernize NASA's IT capabilities to support mission success.
- Develops, maintains, and implements the NASA Enterprise Architecture to ensure IT investments are mission-aligned, integrated, efficient, and secure.
- Leads and oversees NASA's IT Security program, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets throughout the system lifecycle.
- Represents NASA on the Federal CIO Council and ensures appropriate NASA participation on related federal councils, including the Chief AI Officer Council, Chief Data Officer Council, Federal Privacy Council, and Chief IT Security Officer Council.
- Oversees IT-related reporting as required by Congress, the Office of Management and Budget, and other external entities.
Education

Salary & Benefits
Salary: $221,168 to $225,700 per year
